Using the Handset
1. Pickup the handset
2. Enter the number and press the Send key

Using the Speakerphone
1. Enter the number
2. Press the Send key or press the Speakerphone key
Using the Headset
1. With a headset connected, press the headset key to activate headset mode
2. Enter the number and press the Send key

2. Using the Speakerphone: Press the Speakerphone key, Answer soft key or the blinking line key
3. Using the Headset: Press the Headset key
1. Using the Handset: Hang Up the handset or press the End Call soft key.
2. Using the Speakerphone: Press the speakerphone key or press the End Call soft key.
3. Using the Headset: Press the End Call soft key. If wireless/bluetooth push the button on the headset.

1. Press the Transfer soft key during an active call. The current call will be put on hold.
2. Enter the number you want to transfer to.
3. Press the B Transfer soft key to complete the transfer.

2. Enter number you want to transfer to and press the # Send key.
3. After the second party answers, press the Transfer soft key to complete the transfer.

3. While the call is ringing press the Transfer soft key to complete the transfer.

2. Dial *+extension.
3. Press the Transfer soft key again to complete the transfer.
1. Press one of the Call Park buttons (1-3) that are green. The light will go red. Or dial *7 and it will announce the park extension.
2. Go to any phone in the office and press the same Call Park button to pickup the call. Or dial park extension.
1. While on a call, press the Conference key.
2. Enter the number of the second party and press # Send key.
3. Press the Conference key again when the second party answers. All parties will be joined now.
4. Press End call soft key to disconnect Or press the Split soft key to separate the two calls. It will place both calls on hold.

features
Press the Message key on the phone
Dial *97 from your phone, it assumes your extension and asks just for the password.
Dial *98 it will ask for extension and password.
Setting Up Your Voicemail
1. Login to your voicemail, by dialing *97 from your phone or press the Message key.
2. Enter your password, default is extension
3. Press Option 0.
Option 1 – record your Unavailable message
Option 2 – record your Busy message
Option 3 – record your name
Option 4 – record your Temporary greeting (overrides all other greetings, used for vacation)
Option 5 – change password.
This will cause your phone to go straight to voicemail
To enable DND, press the DND soft key.
To disable DND, press the DND soft key again.
Adjust ringer volume: press – or + button at bottom while idle.
Adjust handset,headset,speakerphone: while on a call press – or + button, it will adjust the volume on whichever device you are currently using.
Call Hold and Resume
1. To place a call on hold: Press the Hold soft key
2. To pick up a call on hold: Press the Resume soft key If more than one call is hold, use the up and down arrow to select the call. Then press the Resume soft key.
1. Press the Mute key while on a call. The mute key will light up red.
2. Press the Mute key again to disable mute.
This feature is enabled by the administrator
1. Press the Login Button, the button will go red. That means your phone will ring for queue calls.
2. Press the Login Button again to logout, the button will go green.
EHS40
